Emre Akbas

Hi! I am Emre, a first-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Mathematics at TU Munich, where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Suvrit Sra.

I am broadly interested in theoretical computer science, high-dimensional probability and statistics, machine learning, math of AI, and quantum information. Some recent topics of interest include discrepancy theory, sampling algorithms, high-dimensional random geometric graphs, classical and quantum learning theory, and quantum Markov chains.
